Withdrawals, No Shows, and No Cards

Individual Event Withdrawals, Changes, and Additions

If for any reason you are unable to play in a scheduled event or need to make changes to your schedule, you may:

  1. Up to 72 hours prior to the event's first scheduled starting time, you may withdraw from a confirmed event or waiting list by accessing your online account.

  2. Contact the Sneds Tour office immediately by calling (615) 790-3336.

  3. E-mail the Sneds Tour office at tnjuniorgolf@tngolf.org

NOTE: Responses to automated emails/texts will not be received.

DO NOT call the golf course or field staff on-site. All changes must be made through the Sneds Tour office.  We are in direct communication with our staff on site, and messages left in the pro shop may not get to them in a timely manner.

One-Round Sneds Tour Events

Players who withdraw from a tournament more than 72 hours prior to the event's first schedule starting time will be refunded their entire entry fee minus a $5.00 processing fee. For players withdrawing within 72 hours of the tournament's first scheduled starting time, see the Late Withdrawals section below.

Multi-Round Sneds Tour Events

Players who withdraw from a tournament more than seven (7) days prior to the event's first scheduled starting time will be refunded their entire entry fee minus a $5.00 processing fee.

Players who withdraw from a tournament between 72 hours and seven (7) days prior to the event's first scheduled starting time will be refunded their entire entry fee minus a $25.00 cancellation fee. For players withdrawing within 72 hours of the tournament's first scheduled starting time, see the Late Withdrawals section below.

A staff member will be monitoring the Sneds Tour's office voice-mail message center at all times to forward changes to the appropriate field staff members. If you leave a phone message or an e-mail, please indicate your name, a return phone number, the course name and date of the event(s) that you are withdrawing from or making changes to. If you would like to add an event in its place, please indicate the date and name of the event and the Sneds Tour office staff will respond to your request as soon as possible.

The office staff is able to transfer events for you at no charge up to 72 hours prior to the event. If you cancel an event online and then add another event in its place, you will be charged the $5 fee.  We are only able to transfer a tournament to another event that costs the same price. Call or e-mail our office with your request and we will be glad to help.

NOTE: A tournament cannot be transferred within 72 hours of the event. If a player wishes to transfer from a two-day tournament after registration closes and up to 72 hours prior to the event, he/she will incur a $25 cancellation fee.

Late Withdrawals for Events

No refunds are available for withdrawals within 72 hours of the tournament's first scheduled starting time. Late withdrawals do not count as events played and there is no penalty for a late withdrawal (besides the no refund).

Entire Tour Withdrawal

Membership for the 2023 Sneds Tour season may be cancelled prior to Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Any membership cancelled prior to May 1 will be refunded all but a $25/cancellation fee. Starting on Wednesday, May 1, NO refunds can be issued for membership fees.
Please email our office (tnjuniorgolf@tngolf.org) if you would like to cancel your 2024 membership.

Players will receive their membership packets at their first spring event or prior to their first summer event, if they are not playing in a spring tournament.

No Show Policy

Any player entered in an event who fails to show without giving prior notice to the Sneds Tour office will automatically be withdrawn from his/her next event and charged the full amount. Any player who does not show for two events will be withdrawn from their remaining events without a refund. All No Show penalties may, in exceptional individual cases, be waived, modified, or imposed if the Sneds Tour office considers such action warranted.

The reason for this policy and the reason for its strictness is to protect the members of our Tour that are truly dedicated to playing throughout the summer. Many tournaments have waiting lists and it is not fair to those members who are waiting, to be denied the right to play when they would have shown up if a spot in the tournament was available.

On-Course Withdrawals and No Cards

If a player must leave a tournament site due to illness or injury, a Sneds Tour field staff member must be notified. If one is not readily available, please call the office as soon as practicable to let us know why you withdrew. 615.790.3336

Players who simply quit because they are playing poorly will be treated as a No-Card. One (1) No-Card will result in a warning while subsequent No-Cards will be treated as a No-Show (see explanation above).

If you are sick and still decide to compete in an event, remember that a WD for sickness counts as an event played and no refund will be given.

*Players are encouraged to have medical information readily available in case of an emergency. We urge all players to carry emergency contact information and a medical insurance card in their golf bags at all times.*
