Work Dates

Each summer the Sneds Tour hires 22-25 summer staff members to run its golf tournaments in the five regions of the state. The summer staff works in groups of two or three while conducting these events, with each staff member working approximately 12-18 events in his/her area of the state as well as the season-ending championships. The summer staff position focuses on basic tournament preparation and tournament administration with training sessions taking place in mid-May at Golf House Tennessee.

Prospective candidates should be interested in working with kids and learning more about tournament administration. They should possess good communication and computer skills, be very organized and willing to travel.

*Candidates should be at least a rising sophomore in college*

Member Services Internship, Sneds Tour

In 2017, the Sneds Tour will hire one (1) member services intern to help ensure the Tour continues to run with amazing efficiency and first-class service. The Sneds Tour Member Services position will focus on daily golf tournament administration tasks as well as carrying out multiple marketing and customer service strategies.

Prospective candidates should be interested in working in the sports administration industry and possess exemplary knowledge of social media. The member services intern should possess excellent communication, computer and organization skills as well as be comfortable working in an office setting.

*Candidates should be at least a rising sophomore in college*

Tournament Volunteer, Sneds Tour



Tournament Dates: April - October 2017

Each year the Sneds Tour runs nearly 30, two-day events and 110, one-day events throughout Tennessee. Quality events begin with amazing staff and volunteers. Volunteers play a tremendous role in creating a first-class junior golf experience for participants at all Sneds Tour events. These quality experiences establish lasting impressions on junior golfers and help develop a love for the game that lasts forever.

A variety of opportunities are available for Sneds Tour Tournament Volunteers:

  • Tournament Set-Up
  • On-Site Tournament Registration 
  • Rules Officiating (must have strong knowledge of USGA Rules)
  • Photographer
  • Hydration Team
  • Shuttle Driver
  • Spotter
